The tin note was sweet and fruity. On both the charring light and true light the tin note delivered on its promise. The flavor was of sweet fruit and tangy citrus. About a quarter of the way through the bowl there was an earthy taste that started to come through. The resulting flavor was delicious. Cube Gold burned cool and well leaving a light gray ash. I would recommend this blend to any pipe smoker and it came in a nice gift tin.
